1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi's dynamic team. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. You will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including stock selection, merchandise relocation, loading and unloading, inventory counts, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
