Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our thriving team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our customers. As a valued member of our team, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Position Details
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $25.75 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to improve processes.
- Inspect product quality, report safety concerns, and assist in achieving budget goals.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with guidelines.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
- Excellent communication, basic arithmetic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Perform various physical tasks throughout the warehouse in different temperature environments.
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment as needed.
