2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $25.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that products are received, selected, and delivered accurately to our stores.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Job Qualifications

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Key competencies include conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency in organizing and executing tasks. Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior warehouse experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

The role involves lifting products up to 45 pounds, moving merchandise, and operating powered industrial equipment in varying temperatures and environments.
