Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a key part in store management, overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, and identifying training opportunities to foster team growth.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 38 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $26.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations.
  • Communicate job expectations and performance standards to team members.
  • Identify training needs and support team development.
  • Ensure team alignment with company values and goals.
  • Stay informed about local competition to maintain a competitive store.
  • Provide input on product selection and stocking.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring processes.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and customer service standards.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in retail management is preferred.
