Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will elevate the customer shopping experience through exceptional service.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize shelves.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support a seamless shopping experience.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Contribute feedback on products and inventory management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
  • Follow security protocols and maintain confidentiality.
  • Perform additional assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Proficiency in cleaning tasks and compliance with standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
  • Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is beneficial.
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent considered.
