Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Ensure inventory accuracy and monitor products for quality
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies, safeguard data, and uphold security standards
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Adherence to state and local regulations on alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
