Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and monitor products for quality
  • Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
  • Follow company policies, safeguard data, and uphold security standards

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Adherence to state and local regulations on alcohol sales

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
