Position: Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Salary: $16.50 per hour
As a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the store's appearance through merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning tasks. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to enhance the shopping experience for customers while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Perform cashiering, stocking, and cleaning duties
- Assist customers with their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
- Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Follow company policies while ensuring document and data security
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register
- Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience is a plus
- A combination of education and experience equivalent
