Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By working collaboratively with our team, you will elevate the shopping experience for our valued customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring data security
• Other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of following cleaning standards and company policies
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
