Job Description

As a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
  • Follow company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Safely operate equipment such as a manual hand jack and floor scrubber
  • Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
  • Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
