Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining stock levels, operating the cash register, and ensuring the store is clean and organized.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain tidy merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Follow cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring document security
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Ability to maintain cleanliness to company standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
