Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service, merchandising products, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's core values and competencies.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
  • Comply with company policies and maintain document security.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
  • Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
