Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise neatly.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
  • Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
  • Follow company policies, uphold document confidentiality, and ensure security.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Proficient in delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Comply with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
