Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, developing operational plans, and fostering team growth through training opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members for improved performance.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities to support team development.
  • Ensure alignment with company values to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback to maintain market position.
  • Supervise inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels through effective merchandising.
  • Assist in achieving budget goals, conducting inventory counts, and training new employees.
  • Address operational issues and customer concerns promptly and effectively.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older to apply.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and implementing company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive performance through effective goal setting.
  • Experience in retail management preferred.
