Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize cash losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning duties and follow company standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Ability to meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
