Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with team members, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Assist customers and communicate effectively with the team and management.
- Provide feedback on products and inventory to enhance store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies.
- Comply with company policies while upholding security and confidentiality standards.
Physical Demands
Ability to stock merchandise, move products weighing up to 45 pounds, and engage in various physical activities to ensure store operations.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Proficiency in customer service and cash register operations.
- Ability to operate equipment and maintain store cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Adherence to state and local regulations regarding alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus.
