Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, uphold security, and ensure data confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Skilled in using store equipment safely and properly.
• Capable of maintaining a clean store environment per company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adept at working both independently and in a team setting.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
