Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your focus on exceptional customer service and collaboration with the team will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide superior customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and uphold company procedures for security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must be 18 years or older and have excellent customer service skills. Operating a cash register, handling equipment, and maintaining cleanliness to company standards are essential. Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities are key to success, along with meeting state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Ability to handle equipment and follow company policies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
