Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork will contribute to the overall success of our store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational improvements.
- Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to join ALDI.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of meeting physical demands and following safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
