Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team to create an outstanding shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases and maintain a clean store environment
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
