Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with team members, and following company policies and procedures.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Assist customers, communicate effectively with the team and management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
• High school diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
