Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join the Aldi team. As a Cashier or Stocker, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. Your responsibilities will include operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store cleanliness, and providing top-notch customer service.

Average Hours:

Fewer than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$18.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members and communicate information effectively
• Ensure store security and confidentiality
• Perform cashier duties: process purchases, maintain cleanliness, provide quality service
• Perform stocker duties: organize inventory, operate machinery, follow safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and stock merchandise up to 45 pounds
• Comfortable with frequent standing, bending, and reaching
