Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a key member of the store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, cash handling, and providing top-notch customer service. Your contributions will ensure that our store maintains a welcoming and organized environment for our valued customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties with accuracy and efficiency.
• Stock shelves and maintain neat merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Conduct inventory counts and monitor accuracy.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.
• Engage in general cleaning tasks to uphold store standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and other store equipment.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently and in a team setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
