Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides top-notch customer service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store, all while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures.
• Adhere to security protocols and maintain document confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Retail background is an asset.
