Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional customer experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team, demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies, and ensure efficient store operations.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Proficiency in cash register operation
• Experience in retail environment preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in retail is a plus
