Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including cashiering, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with team members, you will contribute to creating an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Participate in inventory counts, adhere to cash policies, and follow company procedures
  • Perform general cleaning duties and ensure the store meets company standards

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
