Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document and data security
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Experience in retail environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
