Job Description
We are hiring Store Team Members to join our dedicated team at ALDI. As a Store Team Member, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Working collaboratively with our team, you will uphold ALDI's commitment to exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe and proper use of equipment
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Effective communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcohol
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
