Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Store Team Members at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a great shopping experience for our customers. You'll collaborate with the Aldi team and deliver exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly display merchandise.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and maintain document security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register.
• Capable of using store equipment and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
