Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Store Team Member and play a vital role in maintaining a superior shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Team Member, you will engage in various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring the cleanliness of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and customer experience.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Follow established company procedures while upholding document security.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate a cash register accurately.
• Capable of safely operating store equipment.
• Skilled in general cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet all requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the role's demands.
