Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our dedicated team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and neatly display merchandise
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy, participate in store inventory counts, and adhere to cash policies
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure data security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning duties and following company policies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is a plus.
