Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, to maintaining cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Collaboration within the ALDI team and delivering exceptional customer service are essential aspects of this role.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Performing general cleaning duties, stocking shelves, and maintaining merchandise displays neatly.
• Providing top-notch customer service and assisting shoppers.
• Collaborating effectively with team members and communicating clearly with store management.
• Participating in inventory counts and ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Adhering to cash handling policies to minimize losses and upholding company procedures and security standards.
• Other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of meeting physical demands of the role.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
