Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and inviting atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in your role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store displays, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in accurate store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Follow company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to work at ALDI.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Work well independently and in a team environment with attention to detail and organization.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is advantageous.
