Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team, uphold company standards, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash policies to minimize losses
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security measures
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Work experience in retail preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
