1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and actively participating in inventory management. This role requires a proactive approach to work, teamwork skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input for process improvements and adhere to company policies.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
• Operate equipment safely and report any safety concerns.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently according to company procedures.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines for job functions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency in work.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift items up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate warehouse equipment.
