Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. This role involves assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. As an Assistant Retail Supervisor, you will play a key role in enhancing team performance and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
• Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Operational knowledge of cash registers and store equipment.
