Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are hiring a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi to join our team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an outstanding customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the efficient operation of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register efficiently and handle equipment safely
• Follow company policies and procedures, strong communication skills
• Work independently and within a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
