Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Center Operations Technician I to join our team at Flexential. This role involves providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources, ensuring smooth operations within our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Maintain a professional attitude and conduct while on duty.
• Troubleshoot and document technical issues using our ticketing system.
• Follow company policies, processes, and procedures.
• Assist in physical and logical installations of services.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Data Center and surrounding areas.
• Perform Facilities Rounds and escalate pertinent information.
• Operate and Manage Badge Access Security System.
• Assist Critical Infrastructure Manager (CIM) as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• 1 year of experience in IT Support preferred.
• Network +, Security +, or CCNA certifications desired.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in varied physical environments.
• Capability to lift heavy objects and work aloft.
