Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store maintains a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Offer feedback on products, monitor inventory accuracy, and support store operations
- Follow cash policies and uphold company procedures for security and confidentiality
Physical Demands
Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform various tasks around the store. Must be able to work with or without accommodation.
Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Proficient in customer service and operating a cash register
- Skilled in using store equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Meet state requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
High School Diploma preferred, experience in retail is a plus. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
