Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to uphold our high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Participate in store inventory counts as required and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to follow cleaning standards and company policies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Organizational ability, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
