Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our dedicated team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your primary responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold the company's standards.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company procedures, ensure data security, and perform assigned duties
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in cash register operation
- Ability to operate equipment and maintain cleanliness standards
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Knowledge equivalent to education and experience combination
