Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and other equipment.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Stay organized, attentive to detail, and follow instructions efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
