Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store maintains an excellent appearance and provides exceptional customer service. From stocking shelves to cashiering, you will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Follow company policies with attention to security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
- Ability to operate necessary equipment efficiently
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Work both independently and in a team setting
- High School Diploma preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
