Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Retail Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with our team, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies while maintaining document and data security

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
