Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Stocker/Cashier to join our team at ALDI in a part-time capacity. As an integral member of our collaborative environment, you will be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing exceptional customer service. Position Details
- Position Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases and maintain a clean store environment.
- Provide outstanding customer service and feedback to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies.
Stocker Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves and present products in an appealing manner.
- Follow planograms for merchandising and ensure product freshness.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform cleaning duties and follow company policies
- Prior retail experience and product knowledge preferred
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience desirable
