Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers. Collaborating with the ALDI team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and assist in inventory counts
- Follow cash handling procedures, abide by company policies, and ensure document security
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and operating equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18
- Customer service and cash register experience
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- High school diploma preferred
