Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store maintains a welcoming and organized environment for customers. From cashiering to stocking shelves and providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for all visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays.
  • Assist customers, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively with management.
  • Provide feedback on product quality, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts, adhere to cash policies, and follow company procedures.

Physical Demands

  • Stock merchandise, carry loads up to 45 pounds, and perform various physical tasks.
  • Stand, bend, reach, lift, and move around the store efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and cashiering skills.
  • Operate equipment safely, follow cleaning standards, and interpret company policies.
  • Possess strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
