Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's success by handling various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Comply with company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
