Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for various tasks, including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping environment. By collaborating with colleagues and providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory management activities
• Follow cash policies and company procedures
• Adhere to security and confidentiality protocols
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Customer service and cash handling skills
• Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Strong communication skills
• Organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
