Job Description

Join our team at Aldi as a Store Team Member! In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store activities such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to uphold our standards and service quality.

Position Type

Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. values consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and process adherence.
• Participate in store inventory counts and follow cash handling policies.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain document security.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent customer service and cash register skills.
• Ability to operate equipment and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and multitasking skills.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
