1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As part of the warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving budget goals.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to perform within ALDI Acts competencies including conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
